412.132-62 Sets of free reeds with flexible air reservoir

Anglo-German system, 2 ½ row. Serial number 6825, circa 1870. Oval paper label, handwritten: 'W Barker Importer, Worcester.' 6 ¼" diameter flat mahogany ends, fully fretted. Right-hand backing missing, left-hand is red leatherette. Under action: 'William Barker, Agent, Richmond House, Portland Street, Diglis 10480 (Ink) Worcester' three times; and 'W Barker, Repairer, Teacher, Worcester, July 1877'; and 'W Jenkins, Teacher, xxx [presumably obscured] St, Worcester.' Under hand bar is stamped: 'D Blakemore.' 29 keys: left-hand has ten white, four black; right-hand has ten white, four black and one air. Broad flat bone. White keys stamped 1-10 each side. Later straps with brass screws. Five-fold green leather bellows with gold star papers. Round end brass reeds, left-hand pan has two labels: 'William Barker, Agent, Richmond House, Portland Street, Diglis 10480 (Ink) Worcester'; and '24.10.82, W Barker, tuner and Repairer & Teacher.'
