Harmonieflûte by Busson, Paris. No serial number. Oval impressed stamp on front action cover: 'Busson Brevete Paris.' 18.5" x 6.5" diameter plain black wood ends, shaped sides, light wood wind chest section fretworked fr ont and rear, with two sprung brass securing buttons. Left-hand end has black wood hand bar with four brass feet, and two areas of perforated air valves. 37 small piano keys: 22 ivory 'white notes' and 15 ebony 'black notes', plus bone button controlling dampers stopping off a musette set of reeds. Four-fold black leather bellows with black embossed papers. Brass tongued reeds on double or treble brass reed beds.
