Raised ebony ends, much worn, with 'New Model' style fretwork, bevelled edge. 35 keys: 17 left-hand, 18 right-hand, silver tipped nickel, bushed. Black leather straps with nickel screws. Six-fold black leather bellows with 2 pairs of valve holes in front lower frame, two brass-lined valve holes in rear lower frame. Long squared brass beds, screwed to pans, double screwed steel tongues, pan is fitted in two unequal parts. Ex-Ashton-under-Lyne Concertina Band. Converted from a single action instrument by the addition of a set of reeds. The bellows still have the valve openings present.
