Lower bellows paper labelled: 'C Wheatstone, 20 Conduit St.' Round pan label: 'Wheatstone & Co. Patentees.' Rosewood ends built to standard width: 6¼ inches across parallel sides. The ends have a bevelled edge, brass inlay and fretwork; the backing to the fretwork is absent. 48 silver capped nickel buttons, stamped with note names, bushed. Later West Street style (post 1905) straps with small nickel screws. Five-fold green leather bellows with gold stamped green gold papers. Round-end brass reeds. Later hexagonal mahogany case.
