Clapper bell, made from a shaped sheet of iron which is bent over itself and beaten into shape giving a conical body made of two curved and flared halves with spaces between them, joined at the top by a central bar. The handle, of twisted leather, is looped around the bar. The clapper, a hooked iron rod, is suspended from a length of metal twisted into a ring around the central bar.
