Gajde, bagpipe. The chanter and large single drone of pearwood. The chanter with six fingerholes and with tuning screw, the curved bell of horn segments terminating in a flared brass finial with impressed decoration. The drone in four sections, the upper with deep turning, horn mounts and lead inlay, terminating in a bell of horn segments similar to that of the chanter. The drone stock is carved with a stylised goat's head. The large bellows are of elm.[from Sotheby's catalogue]
