321.321-6 Necked bowl lutes

Genoese mandolin, or 'amandorlino'. Six double courses of wire strings. The ribs of mid-brown wood, separated by fillets of light wood. The table of pine of similar colour. The neck of darker wood. Ivory edging to table and neck. The rose of elaborate design, deeply sunk and gilt, with a mother-of-pearl dog-tooth surround. The bridge narrow, of brown wood, with an ivory face. Six ivory tail pegs. Two strings and one peg missing. Generally in very good condition and requiring careful conservation. Stamped CN with a device.
