comb (general & multipurpose)

Large, decorative Ashanti comb. Carved from sese wood. Carved line and cross decoration, with carved handle of two figures holding a pot. Both figures are stood with one leg behind them, and another raised on a low stool. The comb is named Adamfo Pa, meaning 'best friends' in Akan. Distressed finish.
