Trinidadian carnival costume produced for Shrove Tuesday 2000 as part of 'Pretty Mas'. Taken from the theme of 'Take One' (silms) by Mas Camp 'Fantasia'. All 'Mas' bands parade through the streets of Port of Spain, Trinidad's capital, passing a series of judging points, the main being 'The Grandstand' in Savannah. The Grandstamd houses most of the big carnival competitions, in particular 'Panovama', the steel band competition which takes place every year.
