This mask is of Baba the proud old woman. The hair is made from hemp, the teeth are beans and goose feathers, the teeth are walnut shells.

It is used in villages at New Year, this mask can be seen with people dressed as an old man and a goat who go from house to house as part of a ritual. When the performer is dancing the mask their eyes are closed but they twist the eyes open while walking from house to house to see where they are going.

The mask represents a proud old woman who choked on a potato caught in her throat.
