Arab dagger jambya (also khanjar) curved double edge blade with raised central rib of rounded section. Hilt made from a single piece of horn inlaid with small pierced bone discs. Such daggers are found all over the Arab world, but particularly in the Arab Peninsular. It is not clear where the blades were made, but India (particularly Hyderabad) was the primary area of Indo-Arab exchange especially within the context of weapons.
