An invitation to The Japan Society to visit The Horniman Museum on Friday 26th October 1894

An invite to the members of The Japan Society to visit The Horniman Museum from 5pm to 9pm to meet the President of the Society, His Excellency, the Japanese Minister, Viscount Aoki. The invite mentions there will be coffee on arrival and refreshments provided at 8pm. The invite concludes that unable to accommodate more than 100 guests, Mr. Horniman requests that the members inform the Honorary Secretaries of their intended acceptance, as soon as possible. Tickets with the details for the invite will then be forwarded to the members in order of the application. The invite also states the names of the Honorary Secretaries as, Charles Holme and R. Tayui.
