An invitation to a reception held at the Horniman Museum for the presentation of an award to Mr Manning by T.J. Franklin on 12th July 1894. The writing is slightly unclear, but the invitation appears to be addressed to Mr and Mrs Horniman and their family. The invitation also notes the grounds will be illuminated from 9 to 10.30pm. The illumination is described in detail in ARC/HMG/PR/004/001/128.
