Invitation to visit the Horniman Museum

An invitation from Mr F.J Horniman to the public to visit the Horniman Free Museum; the invitation indicates to the addressees that the museum will remain open from 10am until 9pm on ‘Tuesday 26th December 1893’. The invitation also describes the departments whose collections have been updated such as the “Zoological … Musical Instruments” as well the fact that there is now “a Saloon in which is Exhibited Live Insects and Reptiles”.
