Short presentation of the Horniman Museum signed by Richard Quick (Curator), published for the benefit of the readers who might visit London occasionally.
The Horniman Museum is placed close to Forest Hill and the Lordship Lane station. It is open every Wednesday and Saturday, from 2 pm to 9 pm. The admission is free of charge, and every visitors gets a free catalogue guide.
The collections it houses are vast and various: exhibits from China, Japan and India; Greek, Roman and Egyptian antiquities; Elizabethan rooms; large entomological collection; impressive natural history collection (birds, animals and fishes), etc.
One final note encourages the visitors from a distance to visit the Museum any day, as long as they ask for the Curator.
