A letter sent by Frederick Horniman to Joseph Kemp, dated 14th April 1897, requesting the sketch of 'the clock tower' as soon as it is available. In a post script, Horniman asks Mr Kemp to 'give a hand in the museum during the holidays'. The back of the letter contains notes written in black ink titled 'CCC new Houses' followed by a series of wall measurements and calculations
