Ostrich egg with a metal rim mounted on a metal, square-based stand. There is a pendant dangling from one end of the eggshell, potentially there was on on the opposite side but is lost. The metal work is inlaid with turquoise and red stones. There is damage to the egg and some of the inlaid stones have some out.
