Woman's dress or chemise, with very fine embroidery. Smocking around neck and forming cuffs. Cream cotton fabric embroidered at shoulders and along upper sleeves and round cuffs, also in front panel above the waist with 8 vertical rectangles and one centeral vertical section below the neck and along the hem at bottom edge where there is a row of animal figures above the more formal motifs. Embroidery chiefly red with some blue, yellow and dark brown detailing; alos including metal thread and sequins. Seams decorated with a singloe row of red zig zag embroidery.
