Arrow with rhombic-shaped iron socketed head, wooden shaft with notched end, orange pigment painted on the shaft between 3-feathered fletching (feathers badly damaged). Black tape binding on upper shaft.

A label accompanying the object apparently recorded by Colonel C. de Luxmoore, (late) 99th Deccan Infantry in black ink reads: A bundle of arrows taken at the 'chien men' gate (front gate) of the tartar city of Peking, 1901.
