Wooden shield of ovate form with rectangular spurs above and below. The face of the shield is pierced with two holes, through which a U shaped detachable wooden handle has been fitted. Between the two ends of the handle a vertical strip is painted with red ochre paint, outside of the stripe and the spurs. The entire surface is decorated with a series of horizontal zig zag grooves. Remnants of a beige ochre paint remain in these grooves.
