Small globular vase, Bidri ware, on ring foot with short neck tapering out towards the everted rim. Surface decorated with a vegetal design including four birds, executed in silver in horizontal bands.
This is from the North East, probably Purnia in Bihar state. Its form mimics a ritual vessel, but it was probably not for ritual use. See also 788ii, 790 and 792.
