Painted wooden mask representing a human face. It is painted cream overall, with red lining the eyes and on the lips, and brown eyebrows. The face has lines around the cheeks and on the forehead.
The mask has been badly damaged, incluidng a large split down one side, and repaired with multiple pieces of iron wire. One section of wood at the top of the head is a newer replacement.
These objects are only a part of our collections, of which there are more than 350,000 objects. This information comes from our collections database.
