shield (weapons: accessories)

Wooden shield of ovate form with rectangular spurs above and below. The face of the shield is pierced with two holes, through which a U shaped wooden handle has been fitted. The face of the shield is decorated with evenly spaced groups of four to five parallel zig zag lines. These are in filled with white lime paint, which strongly contrasts with a reddish background.
