Old Burmese woman

Carved and painted wooden figure of an elderly woman. Her longyi has an extra back skirt panel, which drapes along the ground. The longyi has brown and white vertical stripes of varying widths. She also wears a shoulder cloth with floral design on white, and a white jacket. There is painted indication of a black bodice. Her left hand is raised, and probably once held a stick. 'Old Burmese woman' is written on the plinth, which is square but for the corners cut off.
