Painted carved wooden figure of a Burmese officer with a moustache, wearing trousers that extend down to his knees. A colourful, multi-coloured longyi is rolled around the waist and pulled up between the legs. Part of the garment is broken off. The jacket has green criss-cross lacing at the front. There is a collar with the shoulders turned up and a scalloped edge. The multi-tiered helmet is painted green underneath the rim, and has ear flaps. A label on the plinth reads 'Burmese officer'. The plinth is square but for the corners cut off.
