North Indian sword, wavy blade and steel hilt both chiselled with decorative ornaments including figure of elephants and tigers attacking prey. This sword, and other similarly decorated weapons and armour, were produced as ornaments to satisfy a decorative market. The decoration is mostly drawn from the Hindu sources but is frequently mixed indiscriminately with Muslim decoration.
