Legging (habaki) made of parallel lengths of straw bound together in bundles at regular intervals with a darker fibre. Two panels have been attached together vertically along the length of the straw bundles. The resultant legging is slightly wider at one end than the other. From each side of the wider end is a length of cord made from vegetable fibre which has been secured to the legging with a square of fabric sewn onto the legging. The straw has been bent over at the wider edge, but left with rough edges at the narrower end.
