Wood bound book containing 88 pieces of paper. It is a ticket case worn round the neck on a pilgrimage of 88 shrines in honor of 'Kobo Daishi'. One ticket is left at each shrine visited with the pilgrim's name and address on it. On one side of the wood case it says the wearer is travelling in the company of 'Koba Daishi San' on the other is written the following prayer: 'Hail Daishi of the diamond pilgrim way.' (Namu Daishi horo kingo).
