A round pointed helmet of papier-mâché covered with white silk surmounted by a wooden knob with a socket into which fits a pommel of papier-mâché devices built up on a wooden core. A veil, or neck-cloth, is suspended from the base of the helmet and is made of silk decorated with stitches and glass beads. Decoration in papier-mâché built up on wire and net frameworks and painted in red and gold, and adorned with a mosaic of small blue silk pieces. On one side of the helmet a metal disc surrounded by pearls on the other a bulls head in papier-mâché. Other decoration in pearls and a fringe of pink fibres on pommel.
