cannon (weapons (currency & wealth))

Single barrel currency canon. A 'mariam' type minature cannon, in yellow-gold coloured brass, mounted on a carriage with four wheels. The barrel has a slightly flared muzzle. Around the barrel are three raised bands close to the muzzle, five and three in front of and behind the point where the cannon pivots on its carriage, and several further bands at and in front of the breach. The 'gaganok' behind the breach is a knob rather than a cylinder, and there is a touch-hole (sumbu) on the top but no protective lugs to either side of this as is sometimes the case.
