axe (general & multipurpose)

Heavy axe with medium-dark wood handle, one end roughly hewn to a point. Several knots in the wood, visible grain, and irregular slight curving of handle all natural features of the wood. Double-headed, with two thick grey blades of stone set into large wad of shiny black gum adhering around the head. One of these stones has a flat, reddish surface on one side, and the gum has cracks running throughout.
