A cotton tube skirt, or 'phasin', made up of four separate panels hand sewn together. [The patterning is described as it was woven (as stripes) rather than as worn (as bands).] The waistband ('hua') is made of natural, singles cotton. Attached is a similar sized black panel. Next is the widest panel ('sin'), comprising narrow green stripes grouped in twos on a black ground. The bottom ('teen') of the skirt has a solid black panel. [Textile]
