Circular Bidriware tray from India. The centre of the tray is decorated with a large square that consists of 64 individual squares each decorated with a flower or triangular motifs, the latter at the centre of the row, as if for the king and queen in a chess game. Around the square are grape vines and around the slightly everted rim is a band of fishes and flowers. The silver decoration is inlaid in low relief.
