Pewter censer of cast 'fang ding' form with a bulging belly and two 'gui' dragon handles joining the rim to the body, all supported on four anthropomorphic feet. It is part of an altar set of five items. The interior base is impressed with two marks: 1. 'Zhang hong fa yuan' (maker's mark), 'Originating from Zhang hong fa'. 2. 'dian xi bao yong' (hallmark), 'made of tin alloy'.
