The top half or lid of a sarcophagus. It is made up of many sections of wood and is unpainted. The face and beard are carved in two separate sections. The top is made up of three sections of wood, the sides are made from a further one piece on the right and three on the left. The feet are carved separately. There are areas of damage at the nose, lips, forehead, the top and bottom of the lappets and the bottom of the beard.
