Ear stick made from bamboo with organic (plant) fibres
One of three reed ornaments, for the ear. This style of ornament, of reed incised with designs of squatting human figures, is probably from Isabel. Ribbe (1903:244, 265, 311) shows them worn three at a time through holes in the upper ear, in Isabel, and notes their introduction also to Roviana.
