The ownership of this object was transferred to Nigeria’s National Commission for Museums and Monuments (NCMM) in November 2022.

A brass ring (oroka). Benin City. The ring is made from two sheets of shaped metal. It is embellished by four swirling motifs on either side with six small round incised points along the middle, and is symmetrical. An historical Horniman label attached to the ring notes that is it made from a "European hinge" (unconfirmed). Made by Igun Eronmwon guildmembers (bronze and brass casters).
