Porcelain figure of rakan, Han-taku-ka, Satsuma ware. Incense burner in right hand resting on knee. Bald and bare-headed. Wearing long sleeved gold robe decorated with red and white floral motifs, with another over the top, which has flounced short sleeve. The latter has small contiguous repeated red floral motif. Should be a handle from incense burner to left hand, but broken off. One earring also partly missing.
