A wooden pipe, carved from a single piece of dark wood. The stem is at a 45 degree angle to the bowl and the end widens to create a mouth piece, with a band of raised decoration. The bowl is tall and round in cross-section and is lined with iron. The sides of the bowl have inlaid lead creating a pattern.
