Plain-woven heavy cream cotton fabric, occasional orange stripes specially on the sleeves and yoke; embroidery on the sleeves, shoulders and front panels in solid angular designs in black and white thread, latter covered in silver-wrapped thread; also black floral shapes on the back panel next to the stripes and along the edge above the hem where there are also sequins. Pulled threadwork on the sleeves. Marked 'Maramures No. III' inside neck opening. L. 63"; W. (inc. sleeves) 73".
