More or less rectangular piece of cotton textile, part of a woman's blouse. On the two shorter edges and one longer one is a band of gold thread (metal-wrapped thread), worked in chain stitch, which has the appearance of gold braid. The remaining edge has red blanket stitching. Six bands of gold braid alternate with six bands of heavily worked silk embroidery. There is a gap in the embroidery in the second red band from the linen ground.
