Bronze cooking vessel, li, from the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, 722 - 481 BC. Squat body with three mammiform lobes with corresponding short cylindrical feet beneath. Decorated with a band of close raised vertical lines and three flanges. The angular shoulders are surmounted by a short neck with wide everted rim. There is some green patination.
