Woman's blouse in fine fabric gathered at the neck where it is secured by an embroidered strip of cloth forming the neckband. The front is formed of three lengths of cloth, the back of one, with a square gusset added under the armpits. The sections are stitched together vertically with black and brown embroidery thread. The sleeves are formed of further sections of cloth attached to a small panel at the shoulder gathered into the neck. Overall the blouse is embroidered with predominantly blue red and black as well as silver and gold metal thread in vertical designs front and back and along the tops of the sleeves, which are gathered into frilled cuffs. Front opening goes part way down. Secured with threads ending with tassels, one to each side of the top of the neck opening. Length 590mm.
