Sword. Straight, single edged pattern-welded blade, curved to the back at the tip, the cutting edge showing signs of wear and damage. Wooden handle bound with plaited cane, widening to pommel at one end, with metal band at the point the blade is inserted. A hand guard attached next to the handle, made of a thin metal disc, pierced with an over-large central hole through which the blade haft passes.
