Doll representing a standing lady-in-waiting, known as a sannin-kanjo. The doll has orange hakama which are similar to wide trousers. There are several layers of beige upper garments indicated. The outer robe is a purple brocade with gold chrysanthemums and paulownia. This doll is one of the outer two of the three ladies-in-waiting who occupy the row beneath the emperor and empress.
