Doll representing a kneeling senior lady-in-waiting, known as a sannin-kanjo. The doll is wearing orange hakama trousers. There are also several layers of beige upper garments indicated. The outer robe is light gold brocade with floral and butterfly motifs. This doll is used during the Girl's Festival, and is the middle one of the three ladies-in-waiting who occupy the row beneath the emperor and empress.
