Large full-bodied brass water vessel with a flat base and a flaring everted rim. There is engraved decoration depicting a scene from the adventures of Krishna, from the Bhagavata Purana. Krishna vanquishes the snake Kaliya in the Jumna River. The snake's wives beg for mercy. A continuous frieze of engraved foliage based on a spiral around the shoulder and towards the base of the vessel, some of which are scrolling lotus flowers.
