Ceremonial cleaver with a curved iron blade; the cutting edge slightly concave and the back sharply convex. The back of the blade is decorated with an engraved floral design; there is a band of floral and dentate decoration along the side of the cutting edge. The base of the blade is decorated with a design in the form of a creature's head. The brass handle in the same plane as the blade has a round cross-section of variable diameter and is also decorated with engraved designs of flowers and geometric motifs in bands around the surface. Designs on the blade and handle have been inlaid or repaired in places with a black non-metallic material. Drawing on C.I. card.Length 14 in.Blade 7 in. Max width 32 in.
