A smoking pipe with a stem carved from dark wood, a teardrop shaped, amber mouthpiece and a mother of pearl, inlaid decoration. The wood has a slight curve to it and the end piece is rounded and tapers, possibly to fit into a bowl. The wood is decorated with inlaid stars and moons and there are raised dots. The mouthpiece has a crack.
