Lidded teapot made of porcelain painted in underglaze blue and iron red overglaze enamel. It is of squat, globuar form with loop handle and short spout on opposite side, short neck and recessed base, covered with a domed lid surmounted with an oval knob. Decorated with two cartouches of floral sprays and railing flanked by flowers and leaves on either side of the body, same designs repeated on the lid; several bands of leaves, classic scrolls, floral motifs and repeated triangles encircling the neck and the shoulder.
